We investigate EVERY case when a woman asks for money. If you are scammed by a woman in our database, we will return you money you spent on corresponding with her. And NEVER SEND MONEY to a woman you do not know very well or have not met personally. Usually local agents that process your correspondence (translate letters and deliver them to the woman) explain to women that it is our policy: women shouldn't ask for men's financial help as men pay for letters and translaton. If you think you would regret about the money you spend on gifts and meals at the restaurant - simply do not buy anything and do not invite girls to expensive cafes, better invite a woman for a cup of coffee or a walk in the park (if it is not too cold). If a girl is honest, this will do - she is aiming at communicating with you, but not tries to get presents from you. If she is a scammer - you do not need her anyway. But here's a hint: to better understand your Russian woman and succeed with her, there is one thing that must be clearly realized: what is thriftiness in the West is called "greed" in Russia and Ukraine. For the Russians, greed is much worse than hard drinking (famous bad habit of Russian men which is one of the factors why Russian women want to meet and marry a foreigner). A Russian woman doesn't expect diamonds or pearls, but if someone comes to the first date without even a cheap flower or pays the bill separately, he will lose his chance to win Russian woman's heart. Another thing is: be a man to accept that a woman did not like you when you met in person, even after she almost loved you in her letters: you know, people are different in letters, where they can be as nice as they think they are, and in real life.

Why is it that your site uses photos taken by professionals in a studio environment instead of using normal photos taken outside?
Professional photos are made not only for professional models: Russian women understand that the first impression you, foreign men, get about a woman is from the photos in her profile in our Russian women catalog, and if the picture is of low quality you may not write the woman back. If a Russian girl is serious she will go to the professional photographer and pay quite a sum of money and make professional photos where she looks good. Later on, while exchanging letters, the woman can send you her "amateur" photos, made by her friends (such amateur pictures are really of worse quality than professionally made ones, and after scanning and resizing the quality of amateur photos become even lower; that's why we do not advise Russian women to use their home-made photos for profiles on the Russian brides web-site). The agency usually advises a woman to go to the photographer who makes good photos. You can notice similarities in photos of Russian brides from one city. By the way, some of Western guys should give more attention to their photos as well: when a woman sees in your profile picture from your first wedding in which you just have "cut off" your ex-wife, it doesn't look like you are serious, and many women would feel humiliated by this: they take pains to show you the best, sometimes make several photo-sessions at different photographers to attract your attention, and you post to your profile just any picture of yours... If you are not going to the photo-studio to make pictures, try at least find one where you are alone, without ex-girlfriends or any other women (even if it is your mother or sister), where you look good, where you are (preferably) dressed nicely, and most important - this should be a recent picture of yourself.

It is obligatory that every local agency should check woman's ID - passport in Ukraine, Belarus and Russia (it is NOT an international passport which is needed only for travelling abroad, and since not many woman can afford traveling, in many cases women just do not have an international passport, it is an internal passport every citizen of these countries receive when he/she reaches the age of 16). There we can check: first name, last name, middle name, date of birth, place of registration (NOT postal address, or living address, but the address where this person is registered. It is quite often BUT NOT ALWAYS that this place of registration co-insides with the living and postal address for the woman). We do NOT do background checks, we are NOT a detective agency, we are MARRIAGE and DATING agency. We offer services on e-mail forwarding, translation, gift delivery. We can only promise that Russian girls presented by Amazing Women are not married - this information is given in girl's passport - if she has never been married there is no stamp in woman's Ukrainian or Russian passport, if she is divorced, there is a stamp about her marriage and divorce. We can't check "unofficial" relations of Russian brides - boyfriends, lovers, etc., and if a girl is in relations and comes to us it means her relations are not serious. Women come to us because they WANT TO GET MARRIED, and consider a marriage agency to be a good chance to meet reliable man for love, romance, serious relations and marriage.

You should know that photos of beautiful ladies can be used for scamming men. We represent mainly women from the agencies; those girls come to the local marriage agency personally to fill in the application form and bring their photos. Unfortunately, photos can be easily stolen from one web-site and then uploaded to another one (which is free for women to use) with different data which a scammer can use for obtaining money from a foreign men. If you browse our black list you will find a lot of reports in which scammers used photos of famous Russian movie stars, or even American movie stars, taken from their official web-sites. Always contact us (or any other agency where you have seen profiles you doubt about) regarding such profiles. If the person is real, you will receive additional pictures of the girl. Usually an agency makes a photo of a girl holding a sign "Hello, I am real".

Of course, it is not! The girl just uses common variant of her name to sign her letters. One and the same name can have many variants. It is understandable that Western men wouldn't know all variants of Russian women names, as, for example, it still surprises Russian women when Robert from profile becomes Bob in the letters.
